FIFA is the ruling authority of football. It was established in the year of 1904. It was founded in paris. It is a association of 208 members. Its headquarters is situated in Switzerland. On 1930 FIFA orgainsed world cup for the first time. World cup had started from 1930 and still it continuing. There is only a 4 year gap in between world cup's. But one of the most interesting fact and the thing nobody knows is that in 1942 and 1946 world cup did'nt occurs because of second world war. First world cup was hosted in Uruguay and the winners also Uruguay. Uruguay defeated Argentina to became winner of world cup 1930. Argentina is the first Runner up of first world cup.
On 1934 Italy hosted the world cup by beating czechoslovakia on a score of 2-1. In this world cup 32 teams were participated and out of this 16 teams reached final round. Italy hosted the second world cup and the first of them. It was the starting of Italy in world cup. Czechoslovakia became the fourth team to enter the final round. On 1958 Brazil had won their first world cup. It was a huge win for brazil in the finals of world cup against Sweden. The score was 5-2. Just Fontaine a young french player was the topper this time. He scored 13 goals.
